Welcome to the home page of the Halfway & District Bowling Club. The club has been located in Mill Road, Halfway since our formation in 1913 and has enjoyed many successes over the years in Burgh, County and National Championships (see our history page for full details).

Membership is open to all and you can download a membership form from this website or pop in to the club and collect one. New members pay half price fees in their 1st year and kids memberships are free! New players will be made most welcome regardless of experience and ability. We can lend you a set of bowls until such times as you get your own. We have a couple of club coaches who will be happy to provide you with basic tuition on the skills of the game.

The bowling season runs from April to September and we have competitions most weekends, see our fixture list for more details. We come under Bowls Scotland District 19 and also participate in Rutherglen & District Bowling Association, Lanarkshire Bowling Association, West of Scotland Womens Bowling Association and Lanarkshire Womens Bowling Association ties. Our gents have 2 teams in the Lanarkshire Leagues (Divisions 3 & 10) and our Ladies take part in the Cambuslang & District Top Ten.

The club has social evenings with a live turn every Saturday night of the year, non members are very welcome. Our main hall and lounge are also available to hire for private functions.
